Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Anurag Prem Soni ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information through TenanTrack (the "Service").
1. Information we collect
We collect information in these categories:
- Account information — your name, email address, and password when you sign up as a landlord.
- Property, unit, tenant, and lease data — information you enter about your properties, units, tenants (such as name, email, phone number), and lease terms, so the Service can build rent schedules and reminders.
- Payment and billing information — when you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment is handled by Paddle, our payment processor and merchant of record. We receive confirmation of your subscription and billing status from Paddle; we do not store your full card details ourselves.
- Communications — the content and delivery status of rent reminders sent to your tenants by email, SMS, or phone.
2. How we use your information
- To operate the Service — building rent schedules, applying late fees, sending reminders, calculating reliability scores, and generating tax exports.
- To process payments and manage your subscription, through Paddle.
- To communicate with you about your account, billing, or changes to the Service.
- To maintain the security of the Service and prevent abuse.
3. Tenant data you enter
If you enter information about your tenants, you are responsible for having the right to provide that information to us and for your own obligations to your tenants under applicable privacy law. We process tenant data only as directed by the landlord account that entered it, and only to provide the Service.
4. How we share information
We share information only as needed to run the Service:
- With Paddle, to process subscription payments and billing.
- With email, SMS, and phone-call service providers, solely to deliver the rent reminders you configure.
- When required by law, such as in response to a valid legal request.
We do not sell personal information to third parties.
5. Cookies and analytics
The Service currently does not use advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, this section will be updated to describe what's used and how to opt out.
6. Data retention
We retain account and property/tenant/payment data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with tax, accounting, or legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account data as described below.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information. If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) additionally gives you the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, and share, and why.
- Request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.
We do not sell personal information, so there is no sale to opt out of. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
8. Children's privacy
The Service is intended for landlords who are at least 18 years old and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information in the Service, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll provide reasonable notice, such as an email or in-product notice, before the changes take effect.
